Anniston, in Alabama’s northeast faces big problems with crime. It’s one of the most dangerous cities in the state with about 22,400 Americans. Fairfield, with a population of around 11,000 has big safety worries. It has a very high crime rate much higher than the average for Alabama and the whole country. This makes it one of the most dangerous cities to live in the U.S. It’s safer to do things during the day but at night it’s better to be cautious and have plans for safe transportation. Visitors should stick to busy areas and avoid quiet ones, especially after dark.

Bessemer, near Birmingham has a history of industry but also safety problems. It’s known for its natural resources like limestone and iron ore. However, it’s also one of the most dangerous cities to live in Alabama. Even though crime has gone down a bit lately it’s still a concern. Visitors should be careful, especially in less busy areas and at night. It’s good to stay where there are more Americans around, especially after it gets dark.
