In Cheyenne, Wyoming a judge sentenced Steven Ashley to six to ten years in prison for hurting a police officer, according to the crime report of Cap City News. This decision came after a violent event in June 2023.

It all started with some scary 911 calls at a house. Deputies went there and found Steven Ashley acting strangely, possibly because he was on something. They tried talking to him but things got out of control.

Steven Ashley started fighting with the deputies. He hurt Deputy John Ninneman with a hidden knife. Even though they tried to stop him, it was tough.
