According to the U.S. Sun, in Washington’s specific zip codes, residents have a chance to join the GRIT program. It’s meant to help single parents with low incomes save money. The city, county, state, and charities are all working together for this. After a successful trial in 2022 where 110 families got $500 each month for 13 months, they’re starting it again. This time 175 locals will get the payments.

These rules are meant to help those who might be struggling financially because they’re single parents. GRIT Program wants to help single parents manage their money better. By giving monthly payments they hope to ease their financial stress. This GRIT Program shows how different groups can work together to help Americans in need. As the GRIT Program continues its impact on families and the community will be watched closely. It could set an example for similar programs in other places.
