According to the Kansas City Star, Myra Carvalho a woman from Brazil sent Harry Styles a lot of cards very quickly. A court in London decided she would go to jail for 14 weeks because she made Styles feel scared. They also told her she would not see Harry Styles in concert for 10 years. She’s not allowed to contact Harry Styles or go to a certain part of London.

Carvalho came to the U.K. in December and stayed in a hostel. Then in February she started sending Styles letters and bought many cards online to send to him. Some of the cards were for weddings. Now, she has to pay some money to the court. This story shows how being too interested in a famous person like Harry Styles can cause problems. Even though people might like someone famous it’s important to respect their privacy. Carvalho’s punishment might make other people think twice before doing something similar.
