Arrest Made in Portland Shooting Case
United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force Assists in Arrest
According to Fox 12, a man named Kirk D. Belgarde, 53 years old got arrested for murder and bias crimes in a shooting case from January in Portland. The police arrested Kirk D. Belgarde with the help of the United States Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force. They say Kirk D. Belgarde hurt 25-year-old Rametheus Clenese Hill because of his race according to evidence and the Grand Jury.

Detectives Urge Public Assistance in Brentwood-Darlington Shooting Case
The shooting happened on January 19 around 8 p.m. in the Brentwood-Darlington neighborhood. Police found Hill dead in the parking lot of a motel. Hill’s family knows about the arrest of Kirk D. Belgarde. Detectives want more information about the case. They’re asking anyone who knows something to reach out to Detective Brian Sims or Detective Meghan Burkeen.
