Former Ambassador’s Deception Unveiled

Rocha pretended to be against Cuba’s government but he was actually helping them since 1973. The FBI caught him talking to their agents who pretended to be Cuban spies. He said good things about Fidel Castro and bragged about spying for Cuba. We don’t know exactly how much damage he did to America’s safety. Some people like Rep. Carlos Gimenez say 15 years isn’t enough for what Rocha did. Even though he wasn’t charged with spying admitting to being a spy for Cuba is serious. This case shows how hard it is for countries to stop spies and keep their secrets safe.
