According to True Crime Daily, Anthony Wessel a 41-year-old man from Oregon City got sentenced to life in jail for killing his 37-year-old wife, Anna Wessel. Anthony Wessel admitted to second-degree murder and the judge in Clackamas County gave him this punishment. The Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office said Anthony Wessel planned to end his life and his wife’s.

Grief in Oregon City
On November 13, 2023, Anthony Wessel called Oregon City Police confessing to shooting his wife Anna at their home. Police found Anna dead inside. Anthony Wessel left a note planning their deaths but he surrendered instead. Anna is known for her piano skills and sadly she leaves behind four grieving children. Oregon City residents mourn her loss and emphasize the need to support those facing mental health struggles and domestic issues.
