Delaware‘s SNAP Payments Distributes Up to $1,751 Food Assistance Payments in April
According to Colorado Springs Gazette, In Delaware, SNAP payments is helping families get extra money for food this April. They’re giving out SNAP payments up to $1,751 to people who qualify. What’s cool is they spread it out over almost the whole month starting on the 2nd and they sort it by the first letter of your last name. That way everyone gets their help when they need it.

In Delaware, to qualify for SNAP payments, income must be below twice the federal poverty level. Payments vary based on family size, ranging from $291 for individuals to $1,751 for larger families. Eligible recipients receive payments on a Delaware Food First card which can be used for food and drinks only. SNAP payments initiated by President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964 continues to support low-income families in Delaware and nationwide.
