According to True Crime Daily a 29-year-old man named William McClish a livestreamed attacker has been sent to life in prison for hurting two police officers in Orlando, Florida. This scary event happened on September 25, 2021. A livestreamed attacker McClish surprised the officers by attacking them while showing it live on Facebook. He hit one officer hard with a brick and then tried to take away their weapons. He also hurt the other officer badly by biting and damaging his eye.

Even when the officers tried to stop him McClish kept fighting back. He even took away one officer’s radio so he couldn’t call for help. Even when he was in jail McClish didn’t feel bad about what he did. He talked about it like he was proud and said he wanted to kill one of the officers. Videos of what happened made it clear that he planned to hurt them. During his trial McClish said he didn’t do anything wrong and that the proof against him was changed. But the jury decided he was guilty of many crimes including trying to kill a police officer. Now he’s going to spend his life in prison. This is a relief for the community but it also shows how risky the job of a police officer can be.
