Uncertainty Looms over Wisconsin Election Rules: Broad Language Leaves Helpers in Limbo and Urgent Clarification Delayed
The problem is the election rule’s language is too broad so nobody knows exactly what it means. Haas is worried because some helpers like printing companies might not live where they need to. They thought about doing everything themselves but Haas says that won’t work. Because Wisconsin‘s lawmakers won’t meet again until next year and it’s hard to fix the problem. The Elections Commission will talk about the election rule but any changes will have to wait until they finish counting the votes. So for now nobody is sure what’s going to happen next.
