Saint-Gobain Norton attached abrasive wheels $1.6M class action lawsuit settlement for eligible receivers.
Saint-Gobain will pay $1.6 million to resolve a class-action lawsuit
Saint-Gobain settled to pay $1.6 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming it misled consumers about the “best if used by” dates on Norton bonded abrasive wheels. No receipt is required for consumers to be eligible for the Saint-Gobain class action lawsuit settlement.
The Saint-Gobain settlement benefits consumers who purchased certain Saint-Gobain organic bonded abrasive wheel products between June 6, 2017, and Feb. 1, 2024, can be eligible.
According to the Saint-Gobain class action lawsuit, Norton bonded abrasive wheels do not last as long as consumers expect based on “best if used by dates” on product labels. The plaintiffs contend the wheels don’t last as long as stated due to resin degradation.
