Reystar Real Estate Partners and the Resmark Companies have secured a hefty $95 million loan for their latest project in Santa Clarita. The housing development, named Sand Canyon Plaza will sit on 87 acres of land near Sand Canyon and Soledad Canyon roads. It is set to feature over 250 apartments and more than 60 townhomes catering to the growing demand for housing in the area just about 35 miles away from bustling Los Angeles.
The loan, provided by Kennedy Wilson based in Beverly Hills, marks a significant milestone for the South Carolina based developer and their Westwood based investor. The mixed use project aims to create a vibrant community space complete with a 45,000 square foot shopping center anchored by a Sprouts Farmers Market. Alongside the residential units residents can look forward to amenities like a resort style pool, parks, walking trails and modern apartment features such as fitness centers and coworking spaces.
