Training Programs Offer Pathways to Employment for All, Regardless of Education Level

The grants support programs like the Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) and Rodriguez University. These programs train people for jobs even if they don’t have a high school diploma. They focus on jobs that are needed but don’t have enough workers like medical assistants. Mayor Cherelle Parker says these programs are important for giving people a chance to move up and find better jobs. Philadelphia plans to invest more money in similar programs to help even more people find work and improve their lives.
