Tennessee Requires Companies to Utilize Tax Credits Before Receiving Refunds

Governor Bill Lee Bolsters Tax Refund Initiative with $351.7 Million Allocation

The new rules aim to make things clear and fairer when giving out tax refunds. Governor Bill Lee is putting $351.7 million from this year’s budget into the tax refund fund showing a commitment to giving money back. Businesses have until February 3, 2025 to ask for their tax refund. These changes show Tennessee’s effort to help businesses while keeping track of where the money goes.
