According to courier tribune, Missouri’s Senate Committee is working on a new plan. The House Bill 1488 is to help with the big problem of finding child care. This bill wants to give money back to people and companies who help pay for child care. If someone helps a child care center they can get up to 75% of their money back but not more than $200,000 a year. They need to help at least $100. Companies can also get 30% back for helping their employees with child care costs. This plan tries to fix the issue of child care deserts where there are not enough child care options due to reasons like poverty and distance.
