Caruthersville Resident Faces Murder Charges After Fatal Shooting
According to K8 News, In sad news, a man named Gary L. Gale who is 27 and lives in Caruthersville has been accused of first-degree murder after a shooting incident. On Monday March 4, around 7:28 p.m., the police went to East Haven Street following reports of gunshots. They found a young man named Myreon Carter who was 24 and also from Caruthersville, hurt from a gunshot. Despite being taken to the hospital, Carter didn’t make it.

Authorities Seek Answers and Community Support in Wake of Caruthersville Shooting Tragedy
After investigating with help from other law enforcement agencies, Gary L. Gale was arrested on Thursday, March 14. He’s now in jail without bond and will go to court on Tuesday, March 19. The police say they’re still looking into what happened and might arrest more people. If anyone knows anything about the incident, they’re asked to contact the Caruthersville Police Department or the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Department.
