According to The US Sun, two new programs are giving $500 monthly payments to help families who need it. In Fresno County, California the Advancing Fresno County Guarantee Income Program is giving this money to 150 households. People in southwest Fresno or Huron can apply if they earn less than 80% of what others in their area make. This money can be used for things like food and home bills, and it’s meant to help families who are struggling with money.

$500 Monthly Payments Program Eases Heating Costs for Connecticut Families
In Connecticut, another program called Operation Fuel is also giving $500 every month to help with heating costs. People who earn 75% or less of what others in Connecticut make can apply for this help. These programs are coming at a time when many families are finding it hard to make ends meet. With applications opening soon families in these areas have a chance to get some extra help to ease their financial burdens.
