According to Washington Examiner, excitement is building in Alaska as the Department of Revenue gets ready to send out $1,312 stimulus checks from the Permanent Fund Dividend to more eligible residents. These $1,312 stimulus checks will go out on March 21 to Americans who were eligible but haven’t received their $1,312 stimulus checks yet for 2023 or earlier. The Permanent Fund Dividend has been around for 42 years and gives out $1,312 stimulus checks based on how much the state makes from its minerals.

Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend Pumps Vital Funds into Economy

In 2023, Alaskans received $1,312 stimulus checks through the Permanent Fund Dividend starting in October. Alaska’s Revenue Commissioner, Adam Crum said the importance of these $1,312 stimulus checks expressing gratitude for the effort put into ensuring Americans receive necessary support. The 2023 $1,312 stimulus checks are projected to inject nearly $1 billion into Alaska’s economy providing big aid. Eligible Americans can still apply for the 2024 Permanent Fund Dividend until March 31 either online or through a paper form. Alaska aims to simplify the process to ensure residents receive their fair share of revenue generated from natural resources upholding its commitment to community well-being.
