IRS and Treasury Department Deny New Stimulus Checks for 2024

 According to VERIFY, Social Security recipients are feeling let down because of false rumors about getting extra money from the government in 2024. Some Americans saw a video on YouTube and read online articles saying that the Americans might get a stimulus check. But the IRS and the U.S. Treasury Department say it’s not true. The IRS and the U.S. Treasury Department confirmed that there won’t be any new stimulus checks this year. So Social Security payments will stay the same around $1,900 a month without any extra help from the government.

Computers Generating Misleading Content on Stimulus Checks

Be careful online because fake news about stimulus checks is spreading made by computers. Websites called content farms use computers to make lots of articles but websites often have mistakes and say the same things again and again. Right now there’s no plan for more stimulus checks from Congress or the president. Stick to trusted sources to avoid getting tricked by false information.
