1) Highland Park Forest – With a population 87, Highland Park Forest tops the list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Fort Wayne for 2024. The neighborhood has a violent crime rate of 585 per 100,000 residents and a property crime rate of 3,181 per 100,000 residents. The median home value is $54,400, the 11th worst in the city, and the median income is $29,762, the 18th worst.
2) Poplar – Poplar, with a population of 413, is the second most dangerous neighborhood in Fort Wayne for 2024. The violent crime rate is 661 per 100,000 residents, and the property crime rate is 3,595 per 100,000 residents. The median home value is $58,150, the 15th worst, and the median income is $25,204, the 5th worst.
3) East Side – The East Side neighborhood has a population of 1,004 and a violent crime rate of 661 per 100,000 residents, the same as Poplar.
