In Virginia trade school, the tranquility of learning was shattered when a 26-year-old suspect, Philip Brant, allegedly embarked on a stabbing spree, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Elijah Safadi and leaving another victim critically injured. The dreadful episode unfolded on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the apprentice training facility located at 7016 Infantry Ridge Road in Manassas.
The Unfolding Tragedy
The ambiance of the Virginia trade school turned into a scene of terror as multiple 911 calls flooded in, reporting a stabbing in progress. Responding swiftly, officers encountered Brant wielding a knife at the facility’s entrance. Despite repeated commands to desist, Brant advanced, compelling officers to discharge their firearms, ultimately resulting in his demise.
Brant’s alleged rampage commenced within the confines of a classroom, where he mercilessly attacked Safadi, who tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Amidst the chaos, Brant moved to another classroom, perpetrating further violence on a second victim, who now battles for survival in critical condition.
