Economic disparities in California’s inland south will be addressed by a breakthrough guaranteed income plan according to The US Sun. Inland SoCal United Way and the state will contribute $10 million in this effort to aid new parents and former foster kids. Unlike other aid programs, this one pays up to $750 per month for 18 months without attachments.

Innovative Guaranteed Income Program Targets Pregnant Women and Former Foster Youth in California’s Inland South
In their first six months 500 Riverside County pregnant women get $600 each month. Additionally, 120 Riverside or San Bernardino county former foster youth will get $750 monthly stipends. Highly randomized candidate screening payments will commence in early 2024. Adults must meet Riverside County’s $90,616 income limit and San Bernardino County’s $88,847 income restriction.
