Upon closer inspection, the facility was filled with depressing sights, like messy sinks, disorganized kitchens, and hastily arranged food within fridge freezers. On July 3, inspectors from Leeds City Council visited the takeaway on behalf of the Food Standards Agency, and they discovered these alarming conditions.
Through a Freedom of Information request, Leeds Live was able to secure the photographs that depicted the conditions inside the Chinese takeout, revealing the unsettling truth that exists behind the scenes.

Silent Response Raises Concerns for Woo-Kee Chop Suey Bar
The inspectors’ evaluation was unambiguous; it made clear that there was a need for major adjustments in the way food safety was managed, as well as in the upkeep and cleaning of the facility and its amenities. Despite this, food hygiene management was found to be “generally satisfactory,” providing a ray of light in an otherwise bleak assessment.
