Special Needs Victim Endures Trauma
According to Denver 7, Lynn Amaro, a 71-year-old caretaker in Strasburg Arapahoe County was arrested for abusing a special-needs man. Footage showed the victim enduring physical abuse and neglect including forced exercise with a bar of soap in his mouth. Amaro faces charges of second- and third-degree assault on an at-risk individual and her bail was reduced to a personal recognizance bond. Arapahoe County Human Services is investigating the case.
