$1,751 in February Food Stamps Payments

SNAP benefits help 540,300 people—9% of Colorado’s population—with an average monthly payout of $181 per family member.

Based on household size, a single-person household can get $291, a five-person household $1,155, and an eight-person household $1,751. Members can give $219 apiece. The 2023-24 cost-of-living adjustments match these values.

Distribution for February food stamps is organized on a household’s Social Security number’s final digit, assuring efficiency and structure. People with Social Security numbers ending in 3 may expect payments on Feb. 3, while those ending in 7 will receive benefits on Feb. 7. Importantly, those eligible after Feb. 10 will get SNAP payments for the month, eliminating the need to wait until March.

SNAP Benefits Through the Colorado Quest Card

Monthly SNAP benefits are put into a prepaid Colorado Quest Card, acting as a debit card. This multipurpose card lets recipients purchase groceries at local supermarkets, farmers’ markets, and internet vendors, increasing accessibility.

SNAP funding is for groceries, snacks, fresh food, seeds, and plants. Please note that these benefits cannot be used to buy nonfood household items, tobacco, alcohol, pet food, or prepared foods.

SNAP continues to reduce food insecurity and improve the well-being of vulnerable people in Colorado, where households eagerly expect prompt aid.
