According to Daily Item Finance News, since changes were made to the state’s property tax/rent return plan, 3,800 more people are now qualified. This is good news for seniors in the Valley area of Pennsylvania. A report from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue says that more people in Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union counties can now get at least a $380 refund. Aged 65 and up, widows and widowers aged 50 and up and disabled adults aged 18 and up are some of these people. The only thing they need is to make less than $45,000 a year.

Through the Senior Rebate Program, you can get your return online quickly and easily. Income rates of people making up to $8,000 can get a $1,000 refund, people making between $8,001 and $15,000 can get $770, people making between $15,001 and $18,000 can get $460, and people making between $18,001 and $45,000 can get a $380 rebate.
