Trump Wins New Hampshire as Haley Vows to Fight On
Despite New Hampshire voters ‘ independence, Trump’s successive victories in Iowa and New Hampshire were important. Even though it was anti-Trump, the New York Times noted that the previous president triumphed across demographic categories, attracting men and women of all ages.
Nikki Haley defied her followers, saying, “New Hampshire leads the nation. This is not the last in the nation. This race continues. Dozens of states remain.” She stressed her tenacity and scrappiness as Trump’s last opponent. Haley said South Carolina voters don’t want a coronation ahead of the primary. They want an election, so we’ll hold one. We’re only starting.”
Media sites were significantly less bullish about Haley’s prospects since she trails Trump by much to 30 points in South Carolina, her home state. CNN stated that Haley may face pressure to withdraw in the coming days, similar to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who pulled out despite promising to continue after a second-place performance in Iowa.
