Republican lawmakers scrutinize nominee Melissa G. Dalton’s credentials and handling of controversial issues during her confirmation hearing for the undersecretary role at the Air Force.

In a recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, Melissa G. Dalton faced stringent questioning from Republican lawmakers, as they probed her nomination as the undersecretary of the Air Force, scrutinizing her credentials and handling of contentious issues.
