According to Reuters, V.P. Joe Biden released 74,000 additional students from $5 billion in student debt on Friday. Over half worked as teachers, nurses, or firemen for at least 10 years to pay off their debt the quickest.

More than 136.6 billion in student debt will be eliminated under Biden-Harris.

These remarks led President Biden and Vice President Harris to cancel over $136.6 billion in student debt. Vice President Biden said he will continue to help people attain their objectives after the Supreme Court rejected a greater debt-reduction plan in June. Miguel Cardona, the Education Secretary, created SAVE to help individuals pay off debt faster. The total student debt of 43,4 million people was $1.63 trillion in June 2023. Voters concerned about student debt are receiving government responses. This demonstrates that Vice President Biden wants to solve a huge problem, even though he has other political difficulties and others want him to change course.
