$10,000 in Free Money and More Prizes
Siggi’s Dairy, an Icelandic-style yogurt company, now offers $10,000 in free money and more prizes to its customers if they join its program. The company encourages its customers to join the “dry January” by taking a break in using their mobile phones.
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, contestants have the chance to win $10,000 and more prizes for one month by participating in a smartphone and social media detox. Siggi’s website said, “We’re challenging you to give up your smart phone for a month. Think you can handle it?”

More Prizes and How To Qualify
Contestants who win will have the following prizes:
- $10,000
- Flip phone
- Smartphone lockbox
- One month pre-paid sim card
- 60 cups of Siggi’s yogurt
This contest was made after it was found that average Americans spend 5.4 hours focused on their phone everyday. Meanwhile, 71 percent admitted that they slept next to their devices at night. Additionally, a study from the University of Rochester Medical Center found that too much scrolling is linked to declining physical and mental health.
Furthermore, here are the following guidelines to qualify for the contest:
- The contest started on January 17, and entries are valid until 11:59 p.m. on January 31.
- Participants must be 18 or older, so kids who want to qualify will need parental consent.
- Contestants can sign up by filling out an online form.
- They need to provide their first and last name, country of residence, and their email address, along with some essay responses.
Furthermore, winners will be selected on February 15, 2024 and officials will reach out to the winners.
