Former President Donald Trump won 98 of Iowa’s 99 counties in the Republican presidential caucuses on Monday. Trump lost only one country to former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, who won by one vote.

Trump Wins 98 Iowa Counties, Hutchinson Leaves Race After Poor Showing
Despite Trump’s huge victory, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson performed poorly, getting fewer than 200 votes in the Hawkeye State from current results.
Hutchinson withdrew from the nominating campaign after his dismal performance and congratulated Trump and other delegate-winning candidates. He said in a statement that Iowa voters didn’t like his principled Republican with experience agenda.
“Congratulations to Donald J. Trump and the other candidates who won delegate support in Iowa last night. “I’m suspending my presidential campaign and driving home to Arkansas,” Hutchinson said.

Iowa Delegates Divide Proportionally as Trump Gains Momentum: Ramaswamy Bows Out, Backs Trump
The Iowa delegates are proportional to the contenders’ vote share. Author and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who received less than 8% of the vote, also left the race and endorsed Trump.
Trump was already leading pre-caucus surveys, but his stunning Iowa victory seals his GOP primary advantage. He becomes a powerful force as the race progresses.
Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis remain Republican presidential candidates. New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu backed Haley last year, while Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds supported DeSantis. As the GOP campaign heats up, Iowa results shape the GOP election, with Trump’s domination reaffirming his party leadership.
