According to NIKKEI ASIA, top officials from the United States and China just wrapped up two days of talks to ease tensions before Taiwan’s upcoming election. These talks, the first since 2021, stressed the need for clear military communication to avoid problems. They discussed issues like ships in the South China Sea, North Korea, Taiwan, and what’s happening in Ukraine.
