In DeRidder, Louisiana, Navy Reserve trainee Kevin Maddock was arrested on six counts of child pornography. An Army Criminal Investigation Division, Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office, and DeRidder Police investigation led to the arrest. A November 29 tip that Maddock’s Yahoo account had saved, shared, or uploaded six child sexual abuse recordings started the investigation.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children identified four of the movies as child pornography, according to the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office. After obtaining an arrest warrant and search warrant, Maddock’s home was searched while he was at Navy Reserve training out of state.
Maddock was arrested at home after returning from training. Maddock was arrested and taken to Beauregard Parish Jail on a $150,000 bond. Law enforcement agencies’ concerted actions demonstrate the seriousness of the allegations and their commitment to addressing child exploitation crimes.
