Howard Anthony Gloyd, 33, faced felony charges for his alleged involvement in a retail theft ring and grand larceny, in addition to misdemeanor theft counts, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failing to register with law enforcement. The arrest came following the police’s response to a reported theft at the Nike Store on 1330 Scheels Drive, where Gloyd had reportedly committed previous robberies.
