US Says Russia Fooled UN to Carry Out Big Air Attack on Ukraine

US alleges Russia used decoy tactics, discussing Ukraine’s past events, to divert UN focus while planning major air assault on Ukrainian cities.

According to PRVDA report, In a surprise meeting at the United Nations, the United States accused Russia of tricking everyone by talking about a past event, Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity, to distract them. While this was happening, the US says Russia was secretly getting ready for its biggest-ever air attack on Ukrainian cities. John Kelley, a US official, called out Russia for discussing old events at the UN while planning a massive air assault on cities like Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa. He urged the UN to strongly condemn this attack, aligning with President Biden’s stance and stressing the need to stop Russia’s harmful intentions.

On the night of December 29, Russia carried out its largest air attack on Ukraine, hitting cities with various weapons. The Ukrainian Air Force managed to shoot down many Russian planes, but the attack caused serious harm to civilians. The initial reports mentioned 26 people killed and over 120 wounded, but later, the numbers increased to 30 dead and more than 160 wounded. This news emphasizes the severity of the situation, with the US urging the world to condemn Russia’s actions and highlighting the huge difference between Russia’s claims of only targeting military sites and the actual widespread destruction in Ukrainian cities.

The situation in Ukraine is grim as Russia’s massive air assault has caused significant damage and casualties.
