According to ABC7, the New York Food Bank is currently looking to give back to the community this holiday season. Currently, the organization is looking for IRS-certified volunteers for their free taxation program.
The New York Food Bank aims to help people prepare and file their taxation for free. The organization is anticipated to secure nearly $30 million or over $1 billion in cash refunds for low-income New Yorkers this taxation season.

New York Food Bank Looking Forward to Help People for Taxation Season 2024
According to Food Bank NYC, the New York Food Bank has been aiding people for over 20 years with its free citywide taxation assistance program and has put more than $1 billion back into the purses of low-income New Yorkers.
This year, New York Food Bank is looking for volunteers who would support their three-month free tax filing services such as; In-Person VITA tax preparer, in-person back-end tax preparer, and remote VITA tax preparer.
