The North Charleston Police Department arrested a suspect in a Northwoods Mall break-in last month.
The Zales Store Incident and Devon Rochelle Goss’ Arrest
North Charleston Police accused 32-year-old Devon Rochelle Goss of third-degree theft, two grand larceny offenses, and intentional property damage.
Harve Jacobs, a police spokesman, confirmed the allegations. A November 18 incident at Zales at Northwoods Mall led to charges. No guns were fired when police arrived at a purported murder, but witnesses heard glass shattering.
The investigation revealed that Goss had driven a stolen automobile from Cross County Road to Northwoods Mall.

After mall break-in, police team up to catch Goss
He left the automobile unattended after the break-in. The North Charleston Intelligence-led Policing Unit and detectives caught Goss on Wednesday. Goss was arrested and sent to the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Goss faces third-degree theft charges for helping breach into the Zales gold store. Additional charges include two counts of grand theft and willful property destruction, indicating how much he took. The police worked together to apprehend the culprit, demonstrating their cooperation rapidly.
