NASA Shares Image of Christmas Tree Cluster
According to WRTV, a Christmas tree cluster of stars has captivated many astronomers and stargazers for its Christmas theme in space, as if it is also celebrating the honor of the sacred day with us.
NASA released the composite image of the Christmas tree cluster of stars, which they remarked enhances the resemblance to a Christmas tree through choices of color and rotation. NASA also included in their image how the nebule corresponds to the pine needles of a Christmas tree.

Christmas Tree Cluster Produces X-Rays
According to ABC7, the Christmas tree cluster is officially known as NGC 2264, a group of young stars in the Milky Way that is 2,500 light years away from Earth.
NASA stated that the Christmas tree cluster produces X-rays, which were detected by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, leading to a result of the composite image.
The Chandra X-ray Observatory has been orbiting for 23 years and has been one of the greatest observatories of NASA – along with the Hubble Space Telescope and James Webb Space Telescope – to name a few.
