According to USA Today, the Sunoco Express has been looking for the winner after the Florida lotto winning ticket was purchased the day before the drawing.

Lotto Players Begs to Show Them the Security Camera After the $44M Florida Lotto Winning Ticket Prize Went Unclaimed
According to The US Sun, many residents around the area where the Florida lotto winning ticket was sold have seen people rifling through the trashcans around the shop and snatching crumpled receipts off the ground.
One resident namely Jamie Barreto stated that he also watched lotto players plead with the staff to show them the security camera footage and stated that he couldn’t blame their desperation as the $44 million could change anybody’s life.
