Da Silva’s Near Triple-Double Leads Colorado to Dominant Victory Over No. 15 Miami
With 22 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, Tristan da Silva almost had a triple-double, which was a big part of Colorado’s amazing 90–63 win over No. 15 Miami.
After having trouble with his shot in the first half, da Silva switched his attention to grabbing rebounds and setting up teammates, scoring 18 points in the second half that decided the game. KJ Simpson scored 20 points, and Luke O’Brien scored 13 points during Colorado’s 47–17 run that ended the game.
The team (7-2) got 11 points from J’Vonne Hadley, Eddie Lampkin Jr., and Julian Hammond III.

Colorado Dominates First Half, Overcomes Miami’s Rally, and Thrives with Stellar Second-Half Performance
In the first half, Colorado was in charge. They had three eight-point leads and never fell behind. But Miami closed the gap to 37-36 with a late 10-3 run that was helped by Cleveland’s 3-pointer and a classic 3-point play. In the second half, Nijel Pack’s 3-pointer gave Miami its first lead, 46–43. But Colorado quickly took control, scoring on 10 of 12 plays to take a 62–50 lead with 10:05 left.
With a season-high 28 assists, 16 of which came in the second half, the Buffaloes’ attack worked well. They took advantage of Miami’s 14 mistakes in the second half to win 90–63. Coach Boyle talked about how much better the defense was in the second half.
