A group of Americans or eligible taxpayers will receive an amount of up to $2,500 in income tax rebates before the year ends.
$2,500 in Income Tax Rebates
Millions of Americans across the country are waiting and looking forward to another source of extra money that will help them combat the rising inflation rate. This holiday season, Americans are about to receive an amount of up to $2,500 in income tax rebates.
In a published article in The Washington Examiner, the income tax rebates will be sent to eligible residents and taxpayers in Montana. The distribution began in July and will end in December 2023. However, the state sets criteria for eligibility for the income tax rebates.

Eligibility and Qualification for the Income Tax Rebates
According to an article published in The Gazette, not all residents and taxpayers will receive the income tax rebates. Here are the qualifications:
- a taxpayer must have been a resident for the entire 2021 tax year
- filed tax returns for 2020 and 2021 on time
- not be claimed as dependent on someone else’s tax forms
- had a figure greater than zero on line 20 of their 2021 return
Furthermore, eligible taxpayers and residents to receive the income tax rebates will receive the payments automatically and do not need to file any additional forms.
