Millions of Americans will receive a one-time payment from the government and this will benefit low-income households and eligible taxpayers.
One-Time Payment for Americans
The federal government has released three rounds of stimulus checks that are aimed at helping low-income households, taxpayers, and those who lost their jobs during the pandemic. This time, millions are calling for another round of one-time payment to combat the increasing inflation rate.
In a published article in MARCA, the state of California will release a one-time payment. It is expected that their will be 32 million people and their dependents who will benefit from this new round of financial assistance. However, this is only for those who will qualify.

Will You Qualify?
According to the official website of the State of California Franchise Tax Board, the following are the guidelines:
- You filed a paper return
- Had a balance due
- Received your Golden State Stimulus (GSS) payment by check
- Received your tax refund by check regardless of method of filing
- Received an advance payment from your tax service provider or paid tax preparer fees using your tax refund.
Furthermore, the one-time payment will be sent through paper checks or direct deposits. The Internal Revenue Service advised to visit the official website of the assigned agency.
