The federal government has released three rounds of stimulus checks since the pandemic began to address the financial challenges of the majority of American families. This time, millions are calling for a fourth stimulus check to combat the impact of the inflation rate.
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, some states across the country have already released their own form of stimulus checks through the Economic Impact Payments. Meanwhile, the Internal Revenue Service has also released its outline for those who will become eligible in the new payment.

$300 One-Time Payment
According to a published report in Yahoo News, the Alabama Department of Revenue announced that around 1.9 million will receive a one-time tax rebate of up to $300. The distribution started on December 1, 2023 and it was sent either though direct deposits or paper checks.
Furthermore, single taxpayers who qualify for this one-time tax rebate will receive $150, while couples or married jointly filing will receive $300. Residents of Alabama are also advised to visit the official page of the Alabama Department of Revenue for more updates.
