US Air Force Awarded Boeing Additional KC-46A Pegasus Tankers
According to Boeing Mediaroom, Boeing will build an additional 15 KC-46A Pegasus tankers under a Lot 10 contract awarded by the US Air Force valuing $2.3 billion. Currently, Over One hundred KC-46A Pegasus tankers refuelers are on contract globally, providing advanced capability advantages for the joint force and allies.
With a supplier network of about 37,000 American workers employed by more than 600 businesses throughout America, the combat-proven KC-46A Pegasus tankers are transforming the role of the tanker for the 21st century.

KC-46A Pegasus Tanker the Game Changer of Agile Combat
According to NASDAQ, the KC-46A Pegasus tanker has already been called a “game changer” for its abilities. From aerial refueling, cargo and passenger transportation, aeromedical evacuation support, and data connectivity at the tactical edge, to transmit and exchange data, enabling rapid air mobility, global reach, and Agile combat.
Moreover, the USAF awarded Boeing a Block 1 upgrade contract, an additional more advanced communications capabilities to enhance the aircraft’s data connectivity and situational awareness.
Up to now, Boeing has delivered seventy-six KC-46A to the US Air Force and two to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
