Fatal Stabbing Follows ‘Paint and Sip’ Date for NYC Couple – Police Investigate Teen Son as Suspected Killer

A couple from the Bronx and their 5-year-old son were sadly killed after a “paint and sip” date night. The man’s 19-year-old son is now being looked into in connection with the triple killing. During the date, Jonathan Rivera and Hanoi Peralta tried to fix their relationship. Their bodies were found in their Mott Haven apartment just hours later. The teen son went to the hospital after the event and is now being investigated. He has not yet been named or charged. As the investigation goes on, friends and family are still in shock and can’t believe what happened.

 

 

Jonathan Rivera, a loving father, had a great time with his girlfriend at a “paint and sip” the night before something terrible happened. A friend, Eusebio Baez, remembers the last time they talked and can’t believe the brutal killings that were found the next morning.

Rivera was stabbed in the hallway, and while the police were looking into it, they found his 5-year-old son Kayden badly cut on an air mattress. People in the neighborhood are shocked by what happened to Kayden. He was described as a busy and sassy kid who loved Moose Lodge Happy Meals.

Rivera worked two jobs and cared deeply about the happiness of his children. Even though he recently tried to get back together with his girlfriend, Hanoi Peralta, a terrible accident ended the family’s lives. While detectives try to figure out what happened, the father, his girlfriend, and their 5-year-old son are mourned by friends and family.
