News report from AP news, the Detroit Lions lost to the Green Bay Packers 29–22, and quarterback Jared Goff had a rough game. He dropped more fumbles than any other quarterback in a game. Coach Dan Campbell said he was confident in the team’s ability to get back on track by focusing on specific areas where they could do better. Goff said that the offense needs to get better because of recent mistakes. Even though they lost, the Lions (8-3) want to get back on track and make up for recent mistakes in the NFC North race.
The Detroit Lions lost 29–22 to the Green Bay Packers because Jared Goff had trouble against them and lost three important fumbles. With 12 hits and sacks from the Packers, Rashan Gary had three sacks and put a lot of pressure on the quarterback. David Montgomery scored a touchdown in the third quarter that looked good, but Goff continued to have problems in the fourth quarter, including losing a key fumble on a fourth down. When asked how important it was to keep the ball, head coach Dan Campbell said, “We can’t turn the ball over; that’s where it all starts.” The Lions now want to cut down on mistakes and make their game plan better for the next ones.
