Housing Units for Homeless
Housing is still one of the biggest problems in almost all states across the country. This has become a significant problem during and after the pandemic where millions of American families lost their jobs and could no longer afford to pay their mortgages.
In a published article in NBC Los Angeles, state Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that an amount of $156 million is intended to buy and build affordable housing for the residents living in the different counties across the state. This is an expansion of the program called Project Roomkey.
