Millions of Americans across the country are looking for free money to help them face financial problems. Some are still affected by the financial impact of the global pandemic that led them to lose their jobs. Today, some states are already releasing their tax rebates as the tax season begins.
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, the Maryland government will pay $3,000 for EVs bought after July 1, 2023 “until the money runs out,” Frank DuBois, an associate professor at American University said.

Who Are Eligible for the Rebates?
In a published article in the Press Bee, the state of Maryland set the following receive an amount of $7,500:
- 15% of the vehicle purchase price for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles
- 30% of the vehicle purchase price for EVs and FCEVs
Furthermore, electric vehicle owners in Maryland who installed a home charging station can make an additional $700 from the state funding.
