A public servant and a California Assemblymember, Wendy Carrillo, was recently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she was involved in a traffic collision in Los Angeles.
California Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo Arrested on Suspected DUI
According to the LA Times, State Assemblymember, Wendy Carrillo, 43, was booked at around 4:30 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence and being involved in a traffic collision while having a high blood-alcohol count.
According to LAPD Capt. Kelly Muniz, having a high blood-alcohol count only means that the public servant, Wendy Carrillo’s alcohol level was “double the legal age limit or more.”

State Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo Disoriented While Driving, Witnesses Says
According to People, there had been witnesses who saw Wendy Carrillo driving and crashing. One witness who was at the scene of the car crash said he had heard a loud bang just as the collision occurred. In his statement, he stated that he went out to the street and saw Wendy Carrillo and her car, which had its airbags deployed.
The witness declined to provide his name out of privacy concerns but he stated that Wendy Carrillo had a very slurred speech and was very disoriented before he had called the 911.
