A guaranteed income program is one of the ways to help Americans with their financial burdens and to help them feel that they are financially stable amidst the increasing inflation rate. American families must have a stable source of extra money.
In a published article in The U.S. Sun, some residents in Paterson, New Jersey will have the opportunity to get an amount of $400 under the guaranteed income program. Another 200 residents will be selected this year as the program expands.
An official from Paterson said, “A guaranteed income is meant to supplement, rather than replace, the existing social safety net and can be a tool for racial and gender equity.”

Are You Eligible for the Guaranteed Income Program?
According to an article published in PIX11, residents in Paterson will become eligible if they qualify on the following:
- A Paterson resident
- At least 18 years old
- A household of one, earnings can’t exceed $38,910
- Households of four, the limit is $148,028
Applicants need submit their applications on or before October 30. It will only take 25-30 minutes to file online.
